Raksha Bandhan

“Maa (Mother) always protects good people and saints and does carnage of evil powers & demons. Thus ‘She’ is protector as well as destroyer. By tying ‘Rakhi’ (Protection-Thread) to ‘Maa’ on the day of Raksha-Bandhan, the devotees pray for their protection. This festival is being celebrated in Shaktipeeth Shri Devikoop Bhadrakali Mandir (Temple) since ages. ‘Maa’ fulfils all the wishes of ‘her’ devotees and takes over  all their griefs by being ‘life-giving’ power. Raksha-Bandhan embodies pious relationship and feeling of ‘Mother-Child’. It carries forward the tradition of ideal love & affection. “Jai Maa Bhadrakali”
